Announcement: We will be closed on Thursday, May 9, 2024 due to Ascension Day. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Team Secure Logistics

DSM in Delft is DSM's biotechnology centre for research and biotechnological production of food ingredients, raw materials, antibiotics and enzymes. About 1200 employees and another 100 Contractor employees on average work at this location every day.

Safety first
Safety has the highest priority for DSM. This applies not only to its own staff, but also to the staff of its contractors. Everyone who works for DSM contributes to this. DSM wants to support its contractors in bringing their safety performance and mindset up to the same level as that of its own staff. This is why DSM is introducing an improved approach to training and assessments for contractor staff. The Gist Production Plant (GPB) in Delft is leading the way in this respect.

DSM wants to move towards a situation where:

  • there is a single platform for all training required for the job (see matrix), with a clear overview and simple verification of the status of all training (see infographic here).
  • A test to verify skills is taken in an assessment centre of our partner Deltalinqs Training & Services.
  • A Digital Safety Passport (DSP), provided by Secure Logistics, will be used to keep track of everyone's training and qualifications. As of a date yet to be determined (Q4 2021- Q1 2022), no activities may be carried out on the GPB site without this pass. The exact date will be communicated.

For DSM contractors this means that all training and qualifications of employees will be accessible via one portal and that the paper safety pass will be replaced by a digital variant. An additional advantage is that this will also speed up access to the Delft site and simplify the registration procedure.

On the DSP, all training courses are registered that are necessary to gain access to the site, including

  • VCA
  • Deltalinqs gate instruction
  • DSM value training courses
  • Specific site training courses
  • Assessment at the Deltalinqs Regional Safety Centre

Once at the gate, security checks whether the minimum training requirements have been met (gate instruction/VCA) via the Digital Safety Passport. The supervisors also use this to check all other necessary, valid training courses. If the required training is not complete, it can be followed at the Deltalinqs licence holder. After successful completion, the training can be added to the DSP.

Your employees already have a DSP

Then you only need to ensure that your employees have the correct training to be able to work at the location.

Apply for DSP
You can enter into a contract to apply for DSPs here. Valid VCA, SIR, SOG and Deltalinqs certificates are directly credited and the expiration is monitored.

Activating your DSP

Employees can have their DSP activated at our security office. Please bring the ID document that was used for the application of the DSP.  After that it is ready for use.

Conducting the DSM e-learnings

Log on with the user ID of the DSP (six digits) and the date of birth or surname. Once the e-learnings have been successfully completed, they will appear immediately in the App. They can then be credited to the DSP at the security lodge. Please note, this is only possible on an activated DSP.

Licence Deltalinqs Training & Services

To save time at the gate, you can train the DSM e-learnings and Deltalinqs Gate Instruction to your employees yourself. You can request a licence for this from Deltalinqs Training & Services. When you give the training courses, it is important that you point out to your employees that they should log in with the DSP user-id, so that the training courses are immediately included in the DSP app.
