Frank Hozeman has played an important role in the success story of Secure Logistics for more than 18 years. From his humble beginnings as Service Manager in 2006 to his current role as Innovation Manager, Frank has had an impressive career with our company. From the introduction of the CargoCard to the implementation of facial recognition, he was involved in all of it.
“When you look back at where we started, it's really incredible to see how far we've come,” Frank says with a smile. “In 2006 we were just a small team of 6 people, but we had big dreams and a huge drive to succeed.”
The history of Secure Logistics goes back to the founding of the Cargocard in 1994, a groundbreaking development in the logistics sector. In 2003, after the end of PCR-Ril, Secure Logistics was founded as a subsidiary of the Shipping Association South, part of Deltalinqs. This marked the beginning of a new chapter, in which Secure Logistics would distinguish itself through its innovative approach to identity management and access control.
One of the highlights of the past 20 years was the successful implementation of the Cargocard at major players such as the large Container Terminals on the Maasvlakte. Frank vividly remembers the challenges and triumphs of this period. “With these Terminals we had a great opportunity to demonstrate our solutions and improve their logistics processes. It was a real milestone for us and opened the doors to further growth and collaborations.”
When it comes to his own contribution to the success of Secure Logistics, Frank is modest, but proud. “I really see Secure Logistics as my baby,” he says. “From leading sales teams to pioneering new technologies, I have always strived to create a positive impact on our company and our customers.”
What really sets Secure Logistics apart from other companies in the sector? According to Frank, this is the combination of identity management linked to an employer and the versatility of the CargoCard. "Our card is more than just an access pass; it is a powerful identity management tool that can be used anywhere. By linking the card to biometrics, we can be sure that the driver is also the driver associated with this card. On the card There are also certificates that may be required to gain access, such as company instructions and the ADR certificate. This is something we can be really proud of."
As the market evolves, Frank is optimistic about the future of Secure Logistics. “We must continue to innovate and adapt to the changing needs of our customers,” he says. “With a strong focus on customer centricity and innovation, we have the opportunity to continue to grow and be successful.”
