What is often called ‘facial recognition’ is in fact facial verification with us. This means that your face is compared one-on-one with a biometric profile that is encrypted and stored on your access pass, such as the CargoCard. There is therefore no central database and therefore no large-scale storage of faces. The comparison only takes place when you present your pass yourself.
