To continuously improve and safeguard safety at the ECT terminals, ECT will introduce a mandatory safety and access test as of February 2026 for all drivers visiting the ECT Delta and ECT Euromax terminals. Secure Logistics supports ECT in the execution of this test. Drivers take the test via the XS-Kiosk of Secure Logistics at our service point Maasvlakte Plaza (Hormuzstraat 50, 3199 KW Rotterdam Maasvlakte).
How does the test work?
- All drivers with a valid CargoCard will be personally informed by ECT when they are required to take the test. A CargoCard with facial recognition is required to complete the test.
- After receiving the invitation, the driver can select a date and time to take the test at our service point Maasvlakte Plaza.
- To prepare, a gate instruction video is shared in the invitation email and via MyTerminal. Please note: the video is not available on site, so make sure to watch it before coming to Maasvlakte Plaza.
- To take the Safety and Access test, you must agree to the ECT terms and conditions in the Secure Logistics customer portal XS ID Online.
- Each driver has three attempts to successfully complete the test.
- If the test is not passed after three attempts, access to the ECT terminals will be blocked for three months. After this period, the test can be taken again.
