To ensure a smooth and efficient process, you will be invited in phases by ECT. Once ECT has contacted you, a time slot can be booked according to the instructions received.

We are very sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, you can only take the test again after 3 months. If you have any questions about this, please contact ECT.

Before taking the test, you must accept the ECT terms and conditions and agree to settlement via XS-Pay. You can easily enable XS Pay in the XS-ID Online portal. Go to Company details and scroll down to Additional services. Then enable the required service

It is no longer necessary to make an appointment. Drivers can complete the safety test at our Service Point Maasvlakte Plaza from Monday to Friday between 08:15 AM and 4:45 PM.

To complete the safety test, you must first accept the ECT terms and conditions in Secure Logistics’ customer portal: XS-ID Online. As part of the preparation, a gate video will be shared via MyTerminal. Please note: we cannot provide access to this video at the Service Point. Make sure you watch the video before coming to Maasvlakte Plaza.

To complete the safety test, you need a CargoCard with facial verification. Make sure to bring your CargoCard with you to our Service Point Maasvlakte Plaza.

You can find the gate instruction video in the invitation email you personally received from ECT and on MyTerminal.

Please note: the video is not available on site at Maasvlakte Plaza and must be watched in advance.

The test can be taken in three languages: Dutch, English and German. The gate video is available with subtitles in several languages: German, French, Polish, Romanian, Bulgarian and Spanish.

No, this is unfortunately not permitted.

If you have not yet passed the safety test, you can still access the ECT site for now. From November 3, 2026, the test will be required for access to the terminal. Make sure you have passed the test before that date.
